Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 1.46%.

The best performers of the session on the were Fitaihi Holding Group (TADAWUL:), which rose 4.62% or 1.60 points to trade at 36.20 at the close. Meanwhile, AL JOUF CEMENT COMPANY (TADAWUL:) added 4.35% or 0.50 points to end at 12.00 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) was up 4.15% or 0.58 points to 14.56 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 10.00% or 2.52 points to trade at 22.68 at the close. Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:) declined 5.41% or 3.60 points to end at 62.90 and Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:) was down 4.98% or 13.20 points to 251.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 169 to 68 and 12 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 10.00% or 2.52 to 22.68. Shares in Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; falling 5.41% or 3.60 to 62.90.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.78% or 1.52 to $86.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.22% or 1.12 to hit $92.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 16.55 to trade at $1,674.55 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.79% to 3.77, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.78% at 109.96.
