Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.95%.

The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which rose 4.65% or 39.40 points to trade at 887.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) added 4.40% or 26.20 points to end at 622.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) was up 3.11% or 30.90 points to 1,025.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:), which fell 1.31% or 240.00 points to trade at 18,100.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 1.27% or 235.00 points to end at 18,320.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:) was down 0.69% or 12.50 points to 1,788.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 68 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.06% or 1.26 to $117.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.68% or 0.83 to hit $120.34 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 8.35 to trade at $1,821.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 7.15, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 105.20.
