According to a report by the Washington Post Wednesday, Twitter’s (NYSE:) board will comply with Elon Musk’s demands for data on bot and spam accounts.

The article, citing people “familiar with the company’s thinking,” said Twitter will provide the internal data by allowing Musk access to its immense stream of data comprising more than 500 million tweets posted each day.

The move, if true, will end a standoff between Musk and the social media company, with the deal currently on hold and Musk previously threatening to scrap the agreement.

The report said access to the data could be provided as soon as this week.

Musk and his legal team have stated the data stream is crucial as it will impact the company’s potential for ad revenue.

The article stated approximately two dozen companies pay for access to the data, which includes a real-time record of tweets, the devices they tweet from, and details about the accounts.
