Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 2.23%.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Telecom (TADAWUL:), which rose 6.57% or 6.60 points to trade at 107.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) added 1.97% or 0.24 points to end at 12.40 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was up 1.81% or 1.60 points to 90.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.98% or 9.00 points to trade at 81.20 at the close. Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 9.94% or 16.40 points to end at 148.60 and Alujain Corporation (TADAWUL:) was down 8.70% or 6.00 points to 63.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 224 to 12 and 3 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.86% or 1.04 to $120.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.93% or 1.14 to hit $121.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.21% or 22.40 to trade at $1,875.20 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.92% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 103.08.
