Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 1.12%.

The best performers of the session on the were Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:), which rose 4.24% or 1.75 points to trade at 43.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (TADAWUL:) added 3.13% or 2.50 points to end at 82.30 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:) was up 3.01% or 1.60 points to 54.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 10.00% or 1.58 points to trade at 14.22 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) declined 5.05% or 0.54 points to end at 10.16 and Al Dawaa Medical Services Co (TADAWUL:) was down 4.71% or 4.00 points to 81.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 192 to 48 and 8 ended unchanged.

Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; down 10.00% or 1.58 to 14.22.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.62% or 0.54 to $86.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.27% or 0.25 to hit $92.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.29% or 21.60 to trade at $1,655.90 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 3.64, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 113.22.
