Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.69%.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:), which rose 7.82% or 2.80 points to trade at 38.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Raydan Co (TADAWUL:) added 7.14% or 1.80 points to end at 27.00 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was up 7.09% or 1.22 points to 18.42 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.37% or 1.15 points to trade at 25.15 at the close. International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:) declined 4.21% or 6.80 points to end at 154.60 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:) was down 4.15% or 1.25 points to 28.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 87 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.11% or 0.99 to $87.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.08% or 1.03 to hit $94.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.35 to trade at $1,714.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 3.77, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 109.97.
