Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:), which rose 9.96% or 2.75 points to trade at 30.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:) added 9.87% or 3.05 points to end at 33.95 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:) was up 5.29% or 1.14 points to 22.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SABIC AgriNutrients Co (SE:), which fell 3.77% or 6.60 points to trade at 168.40 at the close. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:) declined 3.60% or 2.80 points to end at 75.00 and Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:) was down 2.74% or 1.35 points to 48.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 112 to 92 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.32% or 0.25 to $78.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $82.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 7.25 to trade at $1791.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.2083, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 96.745.
