Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.05%.

The best performers of the session on the were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.96% or 5.30 points to trade at 58.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) added 5.15% or 2.80 points to end at 57.20 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:) was up 4.29% or 1.40 points to 34.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.93% or 3.50 points to trade at 31.75 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) declined 4.76% or 0.47 points to end at 9.41 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was down 4.30% or 0.60 points to 13.34.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 130 to 100 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; falling 4.30% or 0.60 to 13.34.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.70% or 1.31 to $78.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.97% or 1.65 to hit $85.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 10.20 to trade at $1,750.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.03% to 3.88, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 106.60.
