PNC Financial announced earnings per share of $3.78 on revenue of $5.55. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $3.72 on revenue of $5.41B.
PNC Financial shares are down 23% from the beginning of the year, still down 32.95% from its 52 week high of $228.14 set on January 13.

PNC Financial’s report follows an earnings beat by BlackRock on Thursday, who reported EPS of $9.55 on revenue of $4.31B, compared to forecasts EPS of $7.65 on revenue of $4.35B.
Progressive had missed expectations on Thursday with third quarter EPS of $0.2 on revenue of $13.02B, compared to forecast for EPS of $1.43 on revenue of $13.32B.
