© Reuters Jefferies Believes Take-Two Interactive Software (TTWO) Will Launch GTA VI ‘Soon’

Jefferies believes Take-Two Interactive Software (NASDAQ:) will launch its GTA VI game “soon,” an analyst said in a research note Friday.
“The most asked question we’ve received as analyst in our career has been ‘when does GTA VI launch?’ The short answer – we can only guess. We think soon,” commented the analyst, who has a Buy rating and $200 price target on the stock.
The Jefferies analyst said the firm has reviewed the last two Rockstar launches, and “they typically hint at production of the next big title then officially announce it with a tweet.”
“The last two Rockstar titles were announced in October and many others were launched in October – offering several ‘anniversary’ date opportunities for a potential announcement. The first date: September 17th, the 9 year anniversary of GTA V,” the analyst added.
He declared that they have confidence that when the game gets announced, there will be a rerating in the valuation and “consistent stock appreciation as excitement and anticipation builds.”
