Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.15%.

The best performers of the session on the were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which rose 2.79% or 103.00 points to trade at 3,801.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) added 2.47% or 63.00 points to end at 2,613.00 and Harel (TASE:) was up 2.33% or 72.00 points to 3,157.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:), which fell 4.98% or 21.40 points to trade at 409.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE:) declined 1.64% or 150.00 points to end at 9,000.00 and Nova (TASE:) was down 1.36% or 400.00 points to 29,060.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 253 to 215 and 41 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) fell to all time lows; losing 4.98% or 21.40 to 409.00.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.34% or 1.74 to $76.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.85% or 1.46 to hit $80.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 2.15 to trade at $1,798.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.13% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 3.67.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 104.14.
