Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which rose 4.52% or 228.00 points to trade at 5,268.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:) added 4.43% or 2,590.00 points to end at 60,990.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.10% or 17.50 points to 581.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.00% or 159.00 points to trade at 5,142.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.29% or 155.00 points to end at 6,625.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.29% or 1,060.00 points to 45,170.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 299 to 179 and 44 ended unchanged.

Shares in Delek Group (TASE:) rose to 3-years highs; rising 4.43% or 2,590.00 to 60,990.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.65% or 2.30 to $89.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.77% or 2.58 to hit $95.60 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.75 to trade at $1,721.85 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.48% to 3.39, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.12% to 3.37.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 109.79.
