Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the fell 0.68%, while the index declined 0.44%, and the index gained 0.36%.

The best performers of the session on the were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE:), which rose 1.81% or 9.800 points to trade at 549.800 at the close. Meanwhile, Symrise AG Inh. O.N. (DE:) added 1.51% or 1.700 points to end at 114.075 and Merck KGaA (DE:) was up 1.34% or 2.48 points to 187.33 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:), which fell 2.77% or 0.870 points to trade at 30.530 at the close. Vonovia SE (DE:) declined 2.22% or 1.18 points to end at 51.90 and Delivery Hero AG (DE:) was down 2.04% or 2.30 points to 110.45.

The top performers on the MDAX were K&S AG (DE:) which rose 3.49% to 13.982, Befesa SA (DE:) which was up 2.01% to settle at 65.90 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 1.84% to close at 90.700.

The worst performers were Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE:) which was down 4.99% to 5.939 in late trade, AUTO1 Group SE (DE:) which lost 4.33% to settle at 31.57 and Fraport AG (DE:) which was down 2.23% to 60.010 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (DE:) which rose 6.29% to 111.600, Suse SA (DE:) which was up 2.55% to settle at 35.38 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 1.84% to close at 90.700.

The worst performers were Nordex SE O.N. (DE:) which was down 3.55% to 14.680 in late trade, Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:) which lost 1.49% to settle at 40.960 and TeamViewer AG (DE:) which was down 1.36% to 25.39 at the close.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 378 to 325 and 69 ended unchanged.

Shares in K&S AG (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.49% or 0.472 to 13.982. Shares in TeamViewer AG (DE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.36% or 0.35 to 25.39.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 2.39% to 23.30.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 2.07% or 35.75 to $1758.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.78% or 0.58 to hit $75.41 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.81% or 0.63 to trade at $78.72 a barrel.

EUR/USD was down 0.25% to 1.1566, while EUR/GBP fell 0.41% to 0.8598.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.398.
