European markets poised to open higher to start holiday week trading By Investing.com

Investing.com – European markets opened higher to kick off trading in the shortened last week of the year.

At 03:10 ET (08:10 GMT), were up 0.5%, were up 0.7%, and were up 0.44%.

Befitting the holiday schedule, there is not much on the economic calendar today, with highlights including the , , and .

Asian markets closed higher on the day, with the rising 0.16% and the closing up 1%.
