Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the fell 4.42% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which fell 1.18% or 10.20 points to trade at 850.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) fell 2.47% or 14.00 points to end at 553.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was down 2.77% or 4.40 points to 154.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which fell 10.71% or 9.70 points to trade at 80.80 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 6.66% or 1,400.00 points to end at 19,610.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was down 6.65% or 10.94 points to 153.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 137 to 23 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 10.71% or 9.70 to 80.80. Shares in Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.47% or 14.00 to 553.00. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.65% or 10.94 to 153.70.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 5.73% or 6.29 to $103.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 5.43% or 6.10 to hit $106.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.27% or 23.95 to trade at $1,858.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 103.92.
