Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 1.23%.

The best performers of the session on the were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which rose 0.36% or 2.80 points to trade at 788.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:) added 0.23% or 2.50 points to end at 1,073.50 and Orsted A/S (CSE:) was down 0.26% or 2.20 points to 858.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:), which fell 9.72% or 217.00 points to trade at 2,015.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:) declined 7.69% or 24.60 points to end at 295.10 and Pandora A/S (CSE:) was down 5.92% or 38.80 points to 617.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 114 to 43 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 0.36% or 2.80 to 788.20. Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 7.69% or 24.60 to 295.10.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.58% or 2.63 to $99.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.36% or 2.52 to hit $104.12 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.80 to trade at $1,928.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 99.57.
