Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 0.73%.

The best performers of the session on the were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which rose 0.90% or 7.10 points to trade at 792.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:) added 0.38% or 10.00 points to end at 2,660.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was up 0.22% or 0.35 points to 161.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 8.95% or 12.25 points to trade at 124.50 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:) declined 5.16% or 66.50 points to end at 1,223.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was down 4.00% or 570.00 points to 13,680.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 107 to 42 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; down 8.95% or 12.25 to 124.50.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.75% or 1.51 to $88.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.96% or 1.80 to hit $93.60 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 14.15 to trade at $1,716.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 1.32% to 7.55, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.32% at 111.44.
