Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 2.20%.

The best performers of the session on the were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which rose 7.54% or 10.15 points to trade at 144.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:) added 5.77% or 4.24 points to end at 77.70 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was up 4.40% or 5.94 points to 140.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:), which fell 0.49% or 0.75 points to trade at 152.20 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 0.21% or 0.80 points to end at 383.70 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) was up 1.01% or 0.96 points to 95.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 107 to 33 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.87% or 2.56 to $86.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.31% or 2.18 to hit $92.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.48% or 24.90 to trade at $1,652.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 7.64, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.66% at 113.00.
