Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.05%.

The best performers of the session on the were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 5.77% or 6.50 points to trade at 119.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:) added 4.76% or 30.60 points to end at 674.00 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) was up 3.39% or 21.20 points to 647.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.52% or 16.50 points to trade at 1,066.00 at the close. Genmab (CSE:) declined 0.76% or 20.00 points to end at 2,610.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) was down 0.48% or 2.20 points to 458.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 66 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.15% or 0.15 to $102.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.28% or 0.30 to hit $106.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 3.30 to trade at $1,955.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.58% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 100.33.
