After a long break from trading = GFC. We are looking for new software.
As former Home Trader members the software side of things were taken care of for us and we just ran our scans in Market Analyst at the end of each day..
We wish to run a purely mechanical system. We input the scan parameters and that’s about it, software does most of the rest.
We scan for a list of stocks that meet certain criteria, for example, CAPP,ATR, volatility, Price Gate, moving average angle, to name a few. Inputting certain values against each of these scans.
We would like a package of software/data that works in this way. Does Metastock perform this way?
We want to back test our system again so will require historical data for the trades we made in 07-08 to make sure we are on the right track.
We only trade FPO ASX.
