Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 1.09% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:), which rose 8.21% or 1.10 points to trade at 14.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Advanced Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:) added 3.22% or 1.45 points to end at 46.45 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:) was up 3.12% or 4.60 points to 152.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.19% or 7.00 points to trade at 106.00 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:) declined 5.88% or 10.00 points to end at 160.00 and Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:) was down 5.70% or 2.60 points to 43.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 180 to 60 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.93% or 0.79 to $83.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.82% or 0.75 to hit $90.60 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 8.35 to trade at $1,675.15 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 3.76, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.07% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 109.68.
