Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:), which rose 4.07% or 3.40 points to trade at 87.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:) added 3.50% or 0.50 points to end at 14.80 and Advanced Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:) was up 3.49% or 1.50 points to 44.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Arab National Bank (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.03% or 1.20 points to trade at 28.60 at the close. The Saudi Investment Bank (TADAWUL:) declined 3.48% or 0.62 points to end at 17.20 and Knowledge Economic City (TADAWUL:) was down 3.34% or 0.38 points to 11.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 161 to 80 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.36% or 1.09 to $81.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.10% or 1.77 to hit $86.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 2.75 to trade at $1,918.95 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.41% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.76.
