Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.12%.

The best performers of the session on the were Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.88% or 4.80 points to trade at 53.40 at the close. Meanwhile, National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:) added 6.19% or 4.60 points to end at 78.90 and United Electronics Company (TADAWUL:) was up 6.01% or 4.20 points to 74.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.19% or 0.80 points to trade at 24.30 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:) declined 2.63% or 2.00 points to end at 74.00 and The Saudi British Bank (TADAWUL:) was down 2.60% or 1.00 points to 37.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 121 to 118 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; gaining 6.19% or 4.60 to 78.90.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.83% or 0.62 to $75.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.68% or 0.54 to hit $80.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.35 to trade at $1,881.15 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 102.92.
