Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 1.39%.

The best performers of the session on the were National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.94% or 5.00 points to trade at 55.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:) added 9.24% or 1.62 points to end at 19.16 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:) was up 8.42% or 2.45 points to 31.55 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.06% or 0.46 points to trade at 14.58 at the close. Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:) declined 2.64% or 2.00 points to end at 73.70 and Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 1.51% or 1.60 points to 104.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 201 to 37 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.19% or 1.72 to $80.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.64% or 1.39 to hit $86.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.45% or 23.75 to trade at $1,659.95 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 3.62, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.13% to 3.77.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 113.94.
