Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 0.57% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.95% or 20.00 points to trade at 221.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) added 4.68% or 1.08 points to end at 24.18 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:) was up 4.33% or 7.60 points to 183.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.77% or 0.54 points to trade at 13.80 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 2.71% or 1.00 points to end at 35.85 and AL JOUF CEMENT COMPANY (TADAWUL:) was down 2.56% or 0.30 points to 11.42.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 136 to 102 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; up 9.95% or 20.00 to 221.00. Shares in International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.33% or 7.60 to 183.20.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.24% or 0.20 to $85.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.35% or 0.32 to hit $91.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 2.55 to trade at $1,653.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 3.71, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 111.90.
