Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 0.37% to hit a new 5-year high.

The best performers of the session on the were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:), which rose 9.97% or 3.15 points to trade at 34.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:) added 8.23% or 1.62 points to end at 21.30 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:) was up 7.78% or 8.00 points to 110.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (SE:), which fell 9.99% or 17.40 points to trade at 156.80 at the close. Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (SE:) declined 9.62% or 20.80 points to end at 195.40 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (SE:) was down 6.02% or 14.40 points to 225.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 83 and 7 ended unchanged.

Shares in Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 7.78% or 8.00 to 110.80.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.15% or 0.15 to $102.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.03% or 0.03 to hit $106.67 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.20 to trade at $1,926.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.03% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 99.57.
