OM1 – Omnia Metals Group

Omnia Metals Group is a mineral exploration company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The Company is focussed on exploring for future facing commodities used in advanced technologies such as renewable energy, electric vehicles, aerospace, telecommunications, automotive and defence. The portfolio of Projects to be acquired by the Company under the Acquisition Agreements follows an extensive search for high-potential, green-technology metal exploration opportunities.

The Ord Basin Project is situated along the borders of Western Australia and Northern Territory in a rapidly emerging district prospective for stratigraphic copper and Norilsk-style nickel-copper-PGE mineral systems. Limited historical exploration completed over an area of 50,000 km2 in the late 1960s identified significant, surficial copper mineralisation within the Project area. The Ord Basin Project is centred around the Negri Fault corridor which has since been identified as a major, mantle tapping structure and conduit for the passage of hydrothermal and magmatic fluids into upper crustal depositional sites. Meaningful exploration in the region has been limited over the past 50 years and as such the Ord Basin Project represents a district scale, greenfields exploration opportunity for copper, nickel and PGE deposit types.

The Albany-Fraser Project is situated in the Albany-Fraser Orogen, one of the more dynamic exploration districts in Western Australia since the discovery of the world class Tropicana (Au) and Nova (Ni-Cu-Co) deposits in 2005 and 2012 respectively. Situated proximal to the Tropicana gold mine, the Albany-Fraser Project is surrounded by major resources companies Independence Group, Fortescue Metals Group and AngloGold Ashanti. The Albany-Fraser Project is focussed along the Salt Creek Igneous Complex with favourable architecture and stratigraphy for the formation of intrusive-hosted nickel-copper sulphide deposits. Previous exploration at the Project was completed as part of belt scale exploration projects completed by major companies and, as such, targets defined during auger sampling programs remain untested. Leveraging off the historical data, Omnia will systematically explore the Albany-Fraser Project to unlock the significant potential that exists in the area.

It is anticipated that OM1 will list on the ASX during February 2022.
