Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:), which rose 9.77% or 122 points to trade at 1371 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TASE:) added 3.59% or 410 points to end at 11840 and Liveperson (TASE:) was up 3.09% or 340 points to 11340 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which fell 4.25% or 510 points to trade at 11500 at the close. Nova (TASE:) declined 3.49% or 1440 points to end at 39770 and Energix (TASE:) was down 3.38% or 45 points to 1286.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 319 to 171 and 42 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.87% or 2.08 to $70.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.72% or 2.04 to hit $72.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1798.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.88% to 3.1265, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 3.5143.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.66% at 96.645.
