Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.59%.

The best performers of the session on the were Shikun & Binui (TASE:), which rose 10.14% or 148.00 points to trade at 1,608.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) added 2.32% or 99.00 points to end at 4,359.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.82% or 10.90 points to 609.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.97% or 239.00 points to trade at 7,801.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.80% or 178.00 points to end at 6,170.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.65% or 31.00 points to 1,140.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 282 to 201 and 39 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) rose to all time highs; rising 2.32% or 99.00 to 4,359.00. Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.82% or 10.90 to 609.00.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.44% or 2.08 to $83.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.14% or 1.97 to hit $90.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 6.25 to trade at $1,671.95 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.32% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.07% to 3.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 109.79.
