Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.54% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 2.98% or 89.00 points to trade at 3,078.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:) added 1.37% or 20.00 points to end at 1,482.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.05% or 51.00 points to 4,890.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.09% or 93.00 points to trade at 2,914.00 at the close. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.92% or 35.00 points to end at 1,163.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was down 2.91% or 4,300.00 points to 143,700.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 258 to 221 and 38 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.77% or 3.34 to $85.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.49% or 3.28 to hit $90.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.13% or 36.35 to trade at $1,672.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.76% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS rose 0.92% to 3.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 109.42.
