Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ormat Technologies (TASE:), which rose 4.04% or 1580 points to trade at 40710 at the close. Meanwhile, Matrix (TASE:) added 2.80% or 215 points to end at 7885 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) was up 2.75% or 48 points to 1793 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.61% or 114 points to trade at 4256 at the close. Leumi (TASE:) declined 2.44% or 50 points to end at 1995 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:) was down 2.18% or 52 points to 2333.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 223 to 206 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ormat Technologies (TASE:) rose to all time highs; rising 4.04% or 1580 to 40710.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.85% or 1.05 to $57.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.31% or 0.78 to hit $60.34 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.44% or 26.05 to trade at $1839.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.78% to 3.2613, while EUR/ILS fell 0.88% to 3.9255.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 91.028.
