Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 2.20%.

The best performers of the session on the were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which rose 5.38% or 286.00 points to trade at 5,598.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 5.31% or 1,560.00 points to end at 30,960.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) was up 4.07% or 42.00 points to 1,075.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Newmed Energy LP (TASE:), which fell 1.74% or 14.60 points to trade at 825.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:) declined 1.71% or 24.00 points to end at 1,376.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.87% or 330.00 points to 37,680.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 294 to 191 and 28 ended unchanged.

Shares in Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.87% or 330.00 to 37,680.00.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 4.10% or 3.26 to $82.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.52% or 3.00 to hit $88.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.54% or 25.75 to trade at $1,697.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.38% to 3.55, while EUR/ILS fell 0.34% to 3.48.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 111.83.
