Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.65%.

The best performers of the session on the were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:), which rose 3.44% or 380.00 points to trade at 11,420.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) added 2.49% or 97.00 points to end at 4,000.00 and Harel (TASE:) was up 2.22% or 79.00 points to 3,642.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shufersal (TASE:), which fell 2.57% or 68.00 points to trade at 2,582.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.95% or 124.00 points to end at 6,241.00 and Maytronics (TASE:) was down 1.85% or 100.00 points to 5,300.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 244 to 240 and 38 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.88% or 2.04 to $110.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.35% or 1.51 to hit $113.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.60 to trade at $1,810.80 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.33% to 3.39, while EUR/ILS fell 0.26% to 3.53.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 104.43.
