Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.35% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.29% or 45.00 points to trade at 1,094.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) added 3.00% or 162.00 points to end at 5,564.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.28% or 60.00 points to 2,690.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Electra Ltd (TASE:), which fell 1.53% or 2,850.00 points to trade at 183,150.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:) declined 1.33% or 15.00 points to end at 1,109.00 and Leumi (TASE:) was down 1.20% or 37.00 points to 3,043.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 271 to 217 and 27 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.42% or 1.14 to $78.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.44% or 1.23 to hit $84.05 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 5.75 to trade at $1,915.95 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.12% to 3.41, while EUR/ILS fell 0.21% to 3.69.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 102.14.
