Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ormat Technologies (TASE:), which rose 2.70% or 790.00 points to trade at 30,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) added 1.84% or 210.00 points to end at 11,610.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.72% or 18.00 points to 1,062.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.15% or 56.00 points to trade at 2,544.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:) declined 1.75% or 20.00 points to end at 1,122.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was down 1.29% or 1,640.00 points to 125,120.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 260 to 216 and 42 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.98% or 2.24 to $77.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.96% or 2.37 to hit $82.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.65 to trade at $1,879.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.68% to 3.44, while EUR/ILS fell 0.59% to 3.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 103.11.
