Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the rose 0.21%, while the index lost 0.07%, and the index climbed 0.41%.

The best performers of the session on the were SAP SE (DE:), which rose 1.08% or 1.340 points to trade at 124.900 at the close. Meanwhile, Linde PLC (DE:) added 0.94% or 2.850 points to end at 306.000 and RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:) was up 0.88% or 0.310 points to 35.720 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were HelloFresh SE (DE:), which fell 2.34% or 1.62 points to trade at 67.54 at the close. Siemens Energy AG (DE:) declined 1.31% or 0.30 points to end at 22.52 and Daimler AG NA O.N. (DE:) was down 0.94% or 0.640 points to 67.590.

The top performers on the MDAX were Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE:) which rose 1.69% to 53.530, Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 1.62% to settle at 112.800 and Evotec AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 1.07% to close at 42.500.

The worst performers were Stroeer SE (DE:) which was down 1.70% to 69.300 in late trade, Duerr AG (DE:) which lost 1.62% to settle at 40.120 and Fraport AG (DE:) which was down 1.17% to 59.180 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:) which rose 1.71% to 33.350, Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which was up 1.62% to settle at 112.800 and SAP SE (DE:) which gained 1.08% to close at 124.900.

The worst performers were Nordex SE O.N. (DE:) which was down 2.31% to 13.960 in late trade, SMA Solar Technology AG (DE:) which lost 1.37% to settle at 37.380 and Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 1.16% to 94.100 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 374 to 317 and 68 ended unchanged.

Shares in Linde PLC (DE:) rose to all time highs; rising 0.94% or 2.850 to 306.000.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 26.98% to 17.70.

Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.52% or 9.35 to $1815.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.43% or 0.33 to hit $76.89 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.30% or 0.24 to trade at $79.45 a barrel.

EUR/USD was down 0.31% to 1.1313, while EUR/GBP fell 0.33% to 0.8384.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 96.095.
