Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.01% to hit a new 3-months high, while the index fell 0.32%, and the index declined 0.29%.

The best performers of the session on the were RWE AG ST O.N. (ETR:), which rose 1.92% or 0.80 points to trade at 42.41 at the close. Meanwhile, Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (ETR:) added 1.30% or 0.33 points to end at 25.70 and MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (ETR:) was up 1.19% or 2.35 points to 199.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Zalando SE (ETR:), which fell 2.93% or 0.88 points to trade at 29.11 at the close. Adidas AG (ETR:) declined 2.12% or 2.68 points to end at 123.98 and Covestro AG (ETR:) was down 1.84% or 0.70 points to 37.42.

The top performers on the MDAX were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which rose 2.86% to 12.41, Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) which was up 2.09% to settle at 6.11 and Kion Group AG (ETR:) which gained 1.55% to close at 28.13.

The worst performers were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was down 3.00% to 40.45 in late trade, ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) which lost 2.72% to settle at 19.65 and Aixtron SE (ETR:) which was down 2.72% to 30.02 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which rose 2.86% to 12.41, CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 1.18% to settle at 36.16 and Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which gained 1.13% to close at 22.45.

The worst performers were Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) which was down 3.70% to 75.50 in late trade, Aixtron SE (ETR:) which lost 2.72% to settle at 30.02 and ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) which was down 2.72% to 19.65 at the close.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 341 to 330 and 87 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 0.59% to 20.38 a new 6-months low.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.47% or 8.15 to $1,753.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 1.59% or 1.24 to hit $76.70 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 1.52% or 1.30 to trade at $84.04 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 105.95.
