Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 1.35%, while the index added 0.88%, and the index climbed 1.45%.

The best performers of the session on the were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:), which rose 5.89% or 1.76 points to trade at 31.66 at the close. Meanwhile, HelloFresh SE (ETR:) added 4.79% or 1.75 points to end at 38.25 and Mercedes Benz Group AG (ETR:) was up 4.12% or 2.63 points to 66.51 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bayer AG NA (ETR:), which fell 1.13% or 0.71 points to trade at 61.99 at the close. Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR:) declined 0.81% or 0.42 points to end at 51.66 and Deutsche Boerse AG (ETR:) was up 0.06% or 0.10 points to 163.40.

The top performers on the MDAX were Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 7.27% to 81.42, Uniper SE (ETR:) which was up 6.46% to settle at 24.40 and Scout24 AG (ETR:) which gained 4.18% to close at 60.30.

The worst performers were Wacker Chemie O.N. (ETR:) which was down 6.16% to 156.95 in late trade, RTL Group SA (ETR:) which lost 3.85% to settle at 49.66 and Kion Group AG (ETR:) which was down 2.50% to 53.14 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 7.27% to 81.42, Suse SA (ETR:) which was up 7.07% to settle at 30.28 and TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which gained 3.38% to close at 11.46.

The worst performers were Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which was down 2.92% to 13.80 in late trade, S&T AG (ETR:) which lost 2.45% to settle at 15.93 and Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 2.09% to 19.70 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 450 to 240 and 78 ended unchanged.

Shares in Kion Group AG (ETR:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.50% or 1.36 to 53.14. Shares in Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.09% or 0.42 to 19.70.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 4.47% to 30.77.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.08% or 1.56 to $1,890.26 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 2.16% or 2.20 to hit $104.22 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 1.58% or 1.66 to trade at $106.61 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.40% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.24% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 103.56.
