Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the fell 0.83%.

The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 6.04% or 12.00 points to trade at 210.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:) added 5.47% or 5.50 points to end at 106.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:) was up 4.89% or 31.30 points to 671.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:), which fell 7.64% or 229.00 points to trade at 2,770.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) declined 2.76% or 410.00 points to end at 14,440.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was down 2.52% or 380.00 points to 14,680.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 62 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.17% or 2.38 to $77.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.13% or 2.51 to hit $82.61 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.00 to trade at $1,875.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 103.01.
