Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 0.68%.

The best performers of the session on the were Genmab (CSE:), which rose 2.19% or 46.00 points to trade at 2,151.00 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:) added 0.58% or 1.30 points to end at 224.40 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was up 0.23% or 0.60 points to 267.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:), which fell 3.69% or 5.90 points to trade at 154.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 2.87% or 500.00 points to end at 16,895.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was down 2.68% or 460.00 points to 16,730.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 40 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.65% or 4.00 to $105.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.20% or 3.67 to hit $110.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 4.00 to trade at $1,842.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 7.02, while EUR/DKK rose 0.09% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 103.72.
