Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.12%.

The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which rose 3.06% or 27.80 points to trade at 936.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:) added 2.57% or 1.72 points to end at 68.70 and Rockwool International B (CSE:) was up 1.40% or 17.50 points to 1,266.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 3.00% or 435.00 points to trade at 14,080.00 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) declined 2.80% or 10.50 points to end at 365.10 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was down 2.66% or 370.00 points to 13,530.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 54 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.80% or 10.50 to 365.10.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.96% or 1.79 to $89.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.88% or 1.81 to hit $94.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 9.65 to trade at $1,684.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 7.64, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 112.72.
