Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which rose 2.75% or 25.4 points to trade at 950.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) added 2.07% or 13 points to end at 642 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was up 1.95% or 17.4 points to 908.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which fell 2.85% or 7.5 points to trade at 255.3 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) declined 1.94% or 10.8 points to end at 545.4 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) was down 1.64% or 6.0 points to 359.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 62 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.00% or 0.53 to $53.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.91% or 0.51 to hit $56.41 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.50% or 27.65 to trade at $1867.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.1417, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4382.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 90.403.
