Stocks again failed to hold gains Wednesday ahead of tomorrow’s reading on consumer inflation, with the dipping 0.3% on the session. In spite of the lackluster day, several rumors made their way around the Street today. Below we highlighted a couple:
Lyft (NASDAQ:) gained nearly 6% Wednesday after Gordon Haskett upgraded the stock and said the company could be ripe for an activist investor. In September, Lyft was the target of unverified takeover speculation.
DocuSign Inc (NASDAQ:) rose nearly 2% after Wedbush upgraded the stock and speculated it could be an M&A candidate for a financial or strategic buyer amid the brutal sell-off in the stock this year.
