Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 2.05% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which rose 4.00% or 163 points to trade at 4233 at the close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE:) added 1.71% or 2910 points to end at 173400 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) was up 1.09% or 25 points to 2325 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:), which fell 8.94% or 2020 points to trade at 20580 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:) declined 7.83% or 2810 points to end at 33070 and Nice Ltd (TASE:) was down 5.38% or 4290 points to 75410.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 374 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.18% or 0.11 to $61.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.11% or 0.07 to hit $64.43 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 3.95 to trade at $1804.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.17% to 3.2687, while EUR/ILS rose 0.19% to 3.9742.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 90.062.
