TSX opens lower as energy, financial stocks weigh By Reuters

(Reuters) – Canada’s main stock index opened lower on Tuesday, dragged down by heavyweight energy and financial stocks, with the markets awaiting the Bank of Canada’s interest rate decision later in the week.

At 9:32 a.m. ET (1332 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 44.7 points, or 0.24%, at 18,873.7.
