(Reuters) – Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Tuesday, with miners leading gains, while investors await the Bank of Canada’s interest rate decision on Wednesday.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (14:31 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 17.17 points, or 0.08%, at 20,259.43.
