Toyota to slash production plan, suspend some domestic operation due to COVID lockdown in China By Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – Toyota Motor (NYSE:) Corp said on Tuesday it would suspend operations on 14 lines at eight domestic factories for up to six days in May due to the COVID lockdown in China.

It also slashed global production target for the month by 50,000 to 700,000.

It did not provide an estimate for lost production in a statement.
