Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 1.29% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.98% or 4.90 points to trade at 54.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.61% or 2.04 points to end at 23.26 and Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:) was up 6.88% or 2.35 points to 36.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 10.00% or 9.50 points to trade at 85.50 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) declined 9.98% or 6.30 points to end at 56.80 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:) was down 9.98% or 10.30 points to 92.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 189 to 44 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.98% or 10.30 to 92.90.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.30% or 2.65 to $112.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.26% or 2.68 to hit $115.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 8.15 to trade at $1,827.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 3.92, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 104.56.
