Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Al Samaani Factory Metal Industries Co CJSC (SE:), which rose 9.94% or 31.60 points to trade at 349.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:) added 9.93% or 14.00 points to end at 155.00 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:) was up 9.91% or 1.600 points to 17.740 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE:), which fell 5.19% or 1.75 points to trade at 31.95 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:) declined 4.89% or 2.20 points to end at 42.80 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:) was down 4.72% or 0.80 points to 16.14.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 100 to 92 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.91% or 1.600 to 17.740.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.72% or 0.44 to $61.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.47% or 0.30 to hit $64.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 6.85 to trade at $1779.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.34% to 4.5299, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 90.668.
