Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 0.27%.

The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 7.03% or 1.24 points to trade at 18.88 at the close. Meanwhile, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:) added 5.27% or 2.45 points to end at 48.95 and Al Hammadi Co (TADAWUL:) was up 4.35% or 2.00 points to 48.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:), which fell 2.77% or 1.60 points to trade at 56.20 at the close. Yanbu Cement Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 2.61% or 1.00 points to end at 37.25 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 2.56% or 0.30 points to 11.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 153 to 82 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.37% or 1.09 to $78.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.27% or 1.10 to hit $85.30 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1,929.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 101.71.
